The elevation model puts the pitch at 1,003 ft, on an upper slope tilted about 4.5° to the southeast.

The nearest mapped water is an unnamed run 1.6 mi north — OpenStreetMap has the channel but no name for it. Treat anything you take from it.

The tallest ground on this site's horizon stands 4.2° above level, to the northwest.
On the March equinox direct sun reaches the pitch at 7:32 am and leaves it at 7:06 pm: 11 h 36 m of it, against 12 h 12 m of daylight on an open horizon.
